What is Waikiki Trolley Holiday Lights Tour?

Only Waikiki Trolley you can ride on the double-decker bus to see the Honolulu City Lights.

Experience the magic of Honolulu City Lights at Honolulu Hale on the Waikiki Trolley Holiday Lights Tour.

Waikiki Trolley takes you to the Honolulu City Lights at Thomas Square Park.

Running everyday from November 30th to December 30th, 2025 the Holiday Lights Tour will take you through historic Downtown where you can hop on & hop off at the Honolulu City Lights at Thomas Square Park where you can explore the festive holiday lights.

The tour also drives past the city’s 50-foot Christmas tree, Shaka Santa, and Tutu Mele, offering a front-row view of these beloved holiday icons. Enjoy cheerful sing-alongs and jolly Christmas stories from the comfort of our open-air bus.

Enjoy the photo shooting opportunity with Santa and the Green Guy, and mini games and crafts at the Holiday Station tent.

Itinerary:

(Approximately 1.5 to 2 hours total)

Check-In — Arrive 10–15 minutes before your tour time, or come 30 minutes early to enjoy activities at Holiday Station.
Ride to Thomas Square Park — Enjoy a guided ride to the holiday lights with festive Christmas songs along the way.
Immersive Light Experience — Explore the illuminated installations and displays. (Approx. 1 hour)
Return to Holiday Station — Shuttle ride back. (Approx. 20 minutes)
Holiday Station Activities — Continue enjoying the Holiday Station or conclude your tour.

$15 with validation up to 4 hours (without validation is $24 or $3 per 30min)

Round Trip Waikiki Shuttle:

You can easily add the Waikiki Shuttle to your tickets — the most convenient way to get around! Departs from the Waikiki Shopping Plaza and takes you directly to the Holiday Station for a seamless start to your magical evening. Adult/child $7.50
